Ah noooo...

David, what *are* you doing with your poor back? :(

I'm really anxious now, a) for David's health, and b) for how Saturday's performance will come out...

I guess if Ed Bennett steps in, it'll be interesting (having seen David's Hamlet already, even more so), but I so wanted [livejournal.com profile] winonah to see DT...

Like quite a number of people have said, being the workaholic that he is, he must be in some serious pain to let go of two performances, press night even.

He is a serious workaholic - but on the other hand, I'm sure he's astute enough to know that if he tries to go ahead when he's not fully fit, he risks doing himself a permanent injury - and he wouldn't want that!

He really must be in a bad shape. According to the RSC site he only missed one performance in this whole career to date. I really hope he will be much better soon and I really really hope that he will be on on Saturday. I actually thought of you when I just read that he won't be on today as well. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Ich wünsche David, dass es nicht Schlimmeres ist. Hört sich nicht so gut an. Und dir drücke ich die Daumen, dass es Samstag auf der Bühne steht. Natürlich nur, wenn er wirklich fit ist. Aber er wird schon wissen, was er sich zutrauen kann. Hoffentlich.
