Since it's only fair...

Weeell, mostly friends only. Not everyone must read it all, don't they.

You're always welcome to add me, I'll have a look and then may add you back. ;)

But beware, at the moment it's mostly Doctor Who | David Tennant | Torchwood  fangirl!rambling, sprinkled with one or the other bits of RL. ;)

For anybody non-German who has ever wondered about Germany's new Foreign Secretary,

Wouldn't hurt to check!

I just got pointed to this by [personal profile] persiflage_1 - everyone should check whether their journals have been compromised!

(I was getting strange connection requests in my browser the last few days - maybe something on my friends page did cause this...!)

You know what ...

Ever since I heard that one commentary, I can't help hearing "Here comes Jack with a very big tractor" whenever his theme plays.

Jude Law's Hamlet - BBC review

Interesting - I was really contemplating getting tickets for that. I guess though that I wouldn't have been lucky anyway.
I didn't know Harriet Jones Penelope Wilton was playing Gertrude in that! And Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ophelia! Half the DW gang there. *G*

"And the only blip in Hamlet's death scene was a badly-timed mobile phone ring from somewhere in row E."
--- ooooh, now can it get any more embarrassing than that?

Oh noes. :'(

David Eddings dies.

He was one of my favourite fantasy authors. :((
The Elenium I read twice - and was always disappointed when it was over.

Found on www.funtoosh.com :

A complex family tree

Many many years ago
When I was twenty three,
I got married to a widow
Who was pretty as could be.

This widow had a grown-up daughter
Who had hair of red.
My father fell in love with her,
And soon the two were wed.

This made my dad my son-in-law
And changed my very life.
My daughter was my mother,
For she was my father's wife.

To complicate the matters worse,
Although it brought me joy,
I soon became the father
Of a bouncing baby boy.

My little baby then became
A brother-in-law to dad.
And so became my uncle,
Though it made me very sad.

For if he was my uncle,
Then that also made him brother
To the widow's grown-up daughter
Who, of course, was my step-mother.

Father's wife then had a son,
Who kept them on the run.
And he became my grandson,
For he was my daughter's son.

My wife is now my mother's mother
And it makes me blue.
Because, although she is my wife,
She is my grandma too.

If my wife is my grandmother,
Then I am her grandchild.
And every time I think of it,
It simply drives me wild.

For now I have become
The strangest case you ever saw.
As the husband of my grandmother,
I am my own grandpa.
